Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 November 2026

1. Service provider

Open Drug Discovery AI (the "Platform") is operated by Mauro Drigo (the "Owner"). Contact: mauro.drg@gmail.com. By accessing the Platform you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Nature of the service

The Platform is a free, public, read-only website that publishes research hypotheses generated with the help of artificial intelligence from publicly available scientific literature and databases. No registration, account, payment or user submission is offered.

The Platform's research scope is restricted to neurological, psychiatric and central nervous system (CNS) disorders — for example Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, as well as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, autism spectrum and attention-deficit conditions, migraine and neuropathic pain, sleep disorders, CNS tumours, CNS infections and rare neurogenetic diseases. Conditions outside this scope are not researched, and hypotheses outside it are not published. Research is restricted to neurological, psychiatric and central nervous system (CNS) disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder.

3. Not medical advice

  • All candidates are research hypotheses. They are not approved medicines, treatments or clinical recommendations.
  • Content is not medical, pharmaceutical, regulatory or legal advice and must not be used to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease, or to make decisions about any person's health. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.
  • The Platform does not provide synthesis, formulation, dosing or administration protocols, and none may be inferred from its content.

4. AI-generated content and accuracy

Hypotheses are produced by automated AI agents and may contain errors, omissions or misinterpretations of the cited sources. Automated scientific review is not independent peer review or experimental validation. A weekly research cycle may publish at most one hypothesis and may publish none if review fails.

Proposed molecular designs and computed 2D/3D structures do not establish efficacy, safety, synthesizability, regulatory approval, patent novelty or absence from the market. Repurposing an existing medicine does not create a new compound. Content is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, novelty, fitness for a purpose or non-infringement of third-party rights. Independently verify every claim against the original sources.

5. Intellectual property

  • Rights in the Platform's original design, software and owner-authored texts are reserved to the Owner where legally protectable, unless a separate licence applies. No exclusive copyright is asserted merely because content was generated by AI. You may read, cite and share owner-controlled research summaries for research and educational purposes, including within commercial research organizations, with attribution to "Open Drug Discovery AI" and a link to the source page. This is not a licence to third-party material or patents.
  • Third-party metadata, abstracts and molecular data remain subject to their original licences and applicable law. Public accessibility does not itself permit unrestricted reuse. The Platform links to original sources and does not reproduce copyrighted full texts. Consult the source's terms before redistributing material.
  • Third-party trademarks and names of databases belong to their respective owners.
  • To report alleged infringement, write to mauro.drg@gmail.com; the content will be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

6. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to access non-public areas, interfere with the Platform's operation, bypass security measures, or perform automated scraping that imposes an unreasonable load.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Owner is not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Platform or its content, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

8. External links

Links to journals, scientific databases and Drugs.com are external references, not endorsements or affiliations. Drugs.com is accessed only when you follow a link; its monographs, interaction information and dosing content are not ingested or republished by this Platform. External services apply their own terms and privacy notices.

9. Changes and availability

The Owner may modify, suspend or discontinue the Platform or these Terms at any time. The current version is always published on this page.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the user's country of residence remain unaffected. See also the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
